Job Description
A Plumbing Service Technician at Pipedex is an expert in diagnosing, servicing, and installing plumbing systems in both residential and light commercial settings. They ensure compliance with applicable codes while handling the assembly, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures related to water distribution and drainage systems.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated Track Record: Proven track record as a plumber, with a minimum of 3 years of field experience, showcasing expertise and reliability in plumbing services.
- Knowledge of Plumbing Systems: Thorough understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations, ensuring compliance and high-quality workmanship.
- Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, facilitating effective team coordination and client interaction.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively, even under pressure, ensuring timely resolution of plumbing issues.
- Commitment to Safety and Quality: Dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and quality, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and clients alike.

Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
- Use hand and power tools effectively in the plumbing trade.
- Understand and apply building codes, safety regulations, and safe work practices.
- Work with various materials, including PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and customers.
- Complete projects independently and without supervision.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
- Pay attention to detail and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Address customer service questions or concerns effectively.
- Communicate plumbing system issues to clients and offer solutions to repair plumbing issues to new conditions.
- Install and repair hot water heaters.
- Maintain accurate and complete records.
Additional Skills and Experiences
- Proficiency in Water Treatment Equipment: Able to repair and install water treatment equipment, such as softeners and filters, with precision and skill. While preferred, it's not mandatory.
- Understanding of Residential Water Systems: Possess a comprehensive understanding of water distribution and disposal systems within residential properties.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Skilled in fostering effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and customers, ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Gas Systems: While not mandatory, familiarity with gas systems is preferred, demonstrating adaptability and versatility in handling various plumbing tasks.
- Experience in Camera Sewer Inspections: Proficient in conducting camera sewer inspections, enabling accurate diagnosis and effective resolution of plumbing issues.
