Plumbing Apprentice / Entry-Level Plumber

Under the supervision of licensed plumbers, the apprentice will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. Under the supervision of licensed plumbers, the apprentice will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the trade, gain hands-on experience, and work toward becoming a licensed plumber.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assembling and installing plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, and fixtures.
  • Help troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline issues under supervision.
  • Review blueprints and building codes with guidance to understand job layouts and standards.
  • Support the maintenance and repair of septic and commercial sewer systems.
  • Prepare tools, materials, and work areas for efficiency and safety.
  • Shadow plumbers to learn how to assess jobs and provide cost estimates for clients.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures to keep yourself and the team secure on every job.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in plumbing.
  • Basic understanding of tools and mechanical systems (a plus, but not required).
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and staying on your feet for long stretches.
  • Able to work in all kinds of settings—indoors, outdoors, or underground.
  • No fear of heights, crawl spaces, or a little mud!
